Pricing FAQ

The money questions

Yes. Every Sia Blooms price includes national park entry, concession fees, the Ngorongoro crater service fee and vehicle fees. Visas, tips, insurance and optional activities such as the balloon safari are the only extras.

The vehicle, the guide and the fuel cost the same whether two or six people sit in it. Spreading that fixed cost over more travellers lowers the per-person price, which is why a four-person safari is often 25 to 35 percent cheaper per head than a two-person one.

Late June, September and early March. April and May are the cheapest months of all, but you should expect afternoon rain and some closed camps.

Twenty percent deposit to confirm, balance before departure. We accept WeChat Pay, Alipay, UnionPay, Visa, Mastercard and bank transfer in USD, EUR or CNY.

Yes, quotes are valid for 21 days. Lodge availability can change faster than that in July, August and the Christmas week, so we flag when a date is tight.
